LIONS TREE OF REMEMBRANCE - 2009
The Lions are again providing a Tree of Remembrance so that the people of Frome and district may have a loved one or cause remembered. The lights on the Tree repesents all those remembered and each donor will receive a personal acknowledgement card. For details of how to make a donation please use the link below for a form or contact any member of the Lions. You may wish join us at the dedication of the Tree and lighting ceremony at 6.15 pm on the 26th November at Rook Lane chapel on Bath Street.

Quiz Nights
Our season of quiz nights at Frome rugby club which begin again in the Autumn. The first event is Friday 25th September. See the diary details below for the next event. Our quiz organiser is Mike Geake on 01373 461298 or emailmike.geake@fromelions.org.uk.
Tree of Remembrance
For the last 3 years the club have created a Tree of Remembrance* sited at Rook Lane Chapel on Bath Street with lights dedicated to those remembered whose name is displayed on the Chapel's notice board. This activity runs from mid-November until the end of December and costs a minimum of £5.00 per remembrance.
Christmas Charity Float
For many years the Christmas Float has toured the streets and homes of the district for about 10 days bringing joy to the children (and some adults) wanting a glimpse of Father Christmas. The event is a shared with the Frome Rotary Club who share the donations for their own good causes. Each year the route and timetable is published in the local press.
